10am... sunny and cold. Woke up feeling much more human, yay! Spent the afternoon quietly, breathing. Still test positive for COVID. Took Bonnie around the short block when temp reached 45. Gaming on ZOOM with DM Agnes was interesting as we cleared up the arboretum mess we got some interesting stuff then signed up for harvest festival games in the town.
9:15... sunny and warming. I had a rough night coughing, partial sinus congestion and headache. A Covid test proved positive; fortunately Leofwyna tested negative but she cancelled her Kris Kinder trip. I called Dr Owen's office to see what I need to do and Dr Cook in the office suggested Zinc, C, D, Tylenol and so forth. The Covid pill would require not taking some of my normal meds so we didn't go there.
9:30 on a cool but pretty day. Headed out for lunch and a couple errands. Took out aluminum cans ($5), got movie tickets for tomorrow, got next COVID shot, and looked for fenced location for Bonnie to run; thought of Doug/Michelle so Leofwyna will call and see. Took Bonnie for a walk and spent the evening on the laptop.
Up and out for lunch. Learned from Leofwyna's doctor's office, five days and you can go back to 'work'. Apparently positive results can continue for a couple weeks. Out to Cracker Barrel for supper then downstairs to start laundry and work on 'set-aside' strippie before returning to sniglets for the rest of the evening.
Up and breakfast. Called in prescriptions to pick up (drive through) this afternoon. After an early afternoon nap I headed out for a DQ shake and HyVee's pharmacy drive through for prescriptions. Isadora brought our milk and bread order... including several packages of hard candies to suck on to keep our throats moistened. I spent the evening working on the laptop while we watched Project Runway re-runs and through the final competition. We were very pleased with the outcome this year. Gerald called this evening to see how we were doing. So far he's got no symptoms which is good.
A good long sleep. Leofwyna got confirmation she's got covid... no doubt that's what I've got too. Got in touch with recent contactees so they can watch out for symptoms. Isadora will bring us some groceries tomorrow. Otherwise we've got plenty in freezer and pantry to get by.
