Up at 10:45 on a pretty, sunny day. Out for lunch then home with Bonnie downstairs counting the four-squares (over 300, enough for two tops) then working on the sniglets while Leofwyna runs errands. Bonnie and I got a walk in late in the afternoon. Went back downstairs with Bonnie to work on another round on the sniglets while Leofwyna rested upstairs (she forgot her pills this morning and suffered the consequences). It rained during the night.
Up at nine on a pretty, sunny morning. Stayed at home so Bonnie got an early afternoon walk. I spent the rest of the afternoon downstairs finishing up the four-squares and getting back to the sniglets a bit. With evening upon us I joined the gaming group with DM Agnes and Pepe adventured in the caverns getting a chance to use the Javelin of Lightning after a frustrating round watching potential victims going down in my straight line of enemies. Oh well. Stayed upstairs on Ancestry when gaming was done for the evening.
And the chill is gone again, it's a pretty, sunny day. I stayed home and made phone calls, dealt with the pile o'mail then headed downstairs to commence cutting 2-inch plaid squares for the Triple Treat. In the afternoon Bonnie and I took a walk then I called ALLO about the laptop and boy was the solution easy... the lock-out was part of a scam and ctrl/alt/del dealt with it. Worked on four-squares most of the afternoon and evening
Up at 9:30 on a pretty, sunny day. When Leofwyna got up Bonnie and I took the three block walk, then Bonnie got her bath. I went downstairs a little while to work on sniglets until time for gaming with DM Agnes with Pepe and the others. Tonight we got into the temple and found a hole leading to tunnels underground infested with huge spiders. Downstairs this evening Leofwyna found a few Bonnie pee spots and cleaned them up including the one in my sewing area. That explains why she wasn't producing outside much.
Up to the alarm at 9 on a fine day to be ready for noon at Gere Library as the Nebraska Costume meeting is a 1920's Mystery game party. Guess who came knocking about ten... Mike (the graduate). He let us know he's working a different, more successful job in Seward. It's good to know he's happier in this situation and maybe our advice helped him along. It's good he came to let us know. I visited with him awhile then Leofwyna came out and while she visited with him I got ready for the mystery event. Emma had a good turn-out (12) which included five from the Omaha Steampunk group. No one solved the murder correctly but it was all fun. My dress got compliments from the crew at the Engine House AND with the group at the library! Leofwyna headed out at noon (I assumed to help with the floor cloth again) so Bonnie was kenneled until I got back after three. I got changed and took Bonnie around the short block before settling in. Spent the rest of the afternoon and evening on the laptop with tv.
Up at eight, assembled pill bottles and placed a prescription order. When Leofwyna got up headed out to lunch, 27th Goodwill (petticoat) and library for one session, then picked up her prescription before returning home to walk Bonnie the three block walk. Spent the rest of the afternoon/evening on the laptop with tv.
I'd set the alarm for two for Bonnie and once she'd done her stuff we headed back to bed until eight. I needed that. It's cold and grey out there this morning. This afternoon the sun came out so Bonnie and I got in a short walk before I went to visit Leofwyna at the hospital awhile. Back at home I continued with the West Wing marathon while I was on the laptop until bedtime (about midnight)
Up at 9:30, out to lunch, vision appointment and IGA for oil for fried chicken. Ran laundry this afternoon, took Bonnie for a walk and decided on character (Gretel) for Gerald's party tomorrow. Made fried chicken and parsnips for supper then laptop and tv until bedtime.
Leofwyna up again at nine this morning (rough night) so Bonnie got off the bed; I had to crate her to finish my sleep. Up at ten to take her out and do my numbers. I took Bonnie for a proper walk after eleven then Leofwyna and I went to lunch together to the Engine House. Bonnie was not happy to be crated while we were gone and cannon-balled around the house when we released her. I spent a quiet afternoon on the laptop while Leofwyna sold feast sets to Morgana; thus covering the cost of installing the new garage door and opener. We crated Bonnie again to go to meeting tonight and supper at Tandore with the Mobleys. Everyone else went to Texas Roadhouse again due to Fausti. Back at home Bonnie greeted us with another round of cannon-ball. She certainly runs off some energy that way!
Up at 9:20am for a leisurely beginning to the day. Headed out near noon for lunch, library, 27th Goodwill (frip cotton) and PetSmart (collar). Back to take Bonnie to follow up vet appointment then home to make apple crisp in time for supper. Watched several movies from afternoon to evening while on the laptop with Ancestry.com. Temps were more moderate today and I meant to get in a walk or two with Bonnie but procrastinated; she was antsy this evening. I need to do better.
Bonnie out with Leofwyna again this morning. Antibiotics and her stomach kept Leofwyna awake all night so she's still under the weather with bile. It looks to be a pretty day but still VERY cold out there. Bonnie got morning AND afternoon walks around the short block but there was still a piddle on front door mat today for me to wash out in the tub tonight. Gaming with DM Agnes dealt with more orcs and ogres in the cave but we didn't get finished with them and so will when we meet again after Christmas.
Up and out with Bonnie 8:15 then back to bed. Took Bonnie's walk 11am; it's still awfully cold this morning. Headed out for errands (gas, move Leofwyna's RAV, get her purse, Walmart for rolls/ham, Menard's for canned air and IGA for grocery stock-up list. Lost the keys while in IGA so that took half an hour before I located 'em and was able to head home. Fortunately Bonnie let Leofwyna know when she needed to go outside earlier. Got the car unloaded with Leofwyna's help and she had supper nearly made for tonight. Spent the evening on the laptop; brought up a couple loads from the laundry.
Leofwyna took Bonnie out again this morning before heading out later for her appointments this afternoon. I walked Bonnie before noon then headed out to my own appointment which turned out was canceled to next Jan-Feb to see a doctor instead. After a stop at the library to pick up a hold and the hairdressers where they were too busy for a cut so I made an appointment. Back at home got a call from Leofwyna; her doctor put her in the hospital for her toe (infection) and she may have to have surgery again. She said not to come out until she knew what was going to happen. Mid evening and the surgery hasn't happed yet and she's still in a room in emergency. A thunderstorm blew through at eleven so Bonnie was leery of going out at midnight so I had to insist.
Up at nine to learn Leofwyna took Bonnie out, yippee! Took Bonnie into bed with me to slow start today. Up at ten for numbers, laptop, etcetra. Spent some of the afternoon sorting strips, taking Bonnie for our 3-block walk and supper. Gaming tonight with DM Agnes had Pepe still traveling with the group and being ambushed by goblins, orcs and ogres.
Up about 9 to take Bonnie out. She had a heavy cough I need to check about. She wouldn't settle with me when I wanted a little more sleep so she had to go back in the crate awhile. Up again at ten and spent some time on the laptop before going to lunch at noon and then stopped for groceries. Leofwyna was up and feeling better when I got back home. Spent a quiet afternoon cutting up the fripping and taking Bonnie on her three-block walk. More frip cutting after supper until bedtime. We've been watching Harry Potter movies yesterday and today while Leofwyna convalesces.
Up about 9 and took Bonnie out. Went to lunch about eleven leaving Bonnie in her crate. Home again I worked on the rest of the frips getting them pressed. We took our three block walk about 3:30 during which I heard her first bark when she saw a fluffy, white dog on "her" path. Later when Leofwyna came home a couple days early (she has a fever but not Covid) Bonnie barked at her when she unexpectedly came in the door.
A slow start this morning after getting up earlier to take Bonnie out (successful) but then overslept. Shoved Bonnie into her crate and headed out for my appointment with Dr Owen (6.1), picked up KFC on the way home after. Walked the three blocks with Bonnie in the drizzle, slipping on the icy sidewalk surface once. Got the bulk of the fripping pressed before getting onto the laptop this evening.
Up to daylight (after seven) to let Bonnie outside a bit (successful) then returned her to the crate while I returned to bed. Up for breakfast at home then a (successful) walk around the short block. Out for lunch and library (drop off and pick up). Back at home finished border on one end of comforter but need to go get another quarter yard of brick stripe to finish. Another walk about four-thirty with Bonnie made 'magic'. Gaming tonight with reduced group dealt with Owain's Ned becoming werewolf due to claw medallion he's wearing from a few weeks back.
