10;00... sunny and warm. Downstairs this afternoon with Leofwyna to oversee her servicing her 301 properly. She should be doing this frequently as much sewing as she's been doing. I got the sheet broken down for the pillow cases for Gerald; I need to get back downstairs before Wednesday so we can finally get those pillows back to him. As expected, it was not a quiet evening with fireworks all around and Bonnie taking offense, poor girl.
9;20... overcast and cool. Out for breakfast. A quiet afternoon and stayed home when Leofwyna went to MagMor. Just to tired today to bother. Bonnie's reacting more to the bangs and pops this year. She refused to go out at all when I offered about seven. When Leofwyna got home she wrapped Bonnie in an Ace Bandage and that seemed to help.
10:45... slept very well. Sunny and warm. Bonnie got her bath today and Leofwyna and I both had things to go to this evening. Leofwyna dropped me off at the Doerr's for gaming before heading to Aurick's for a Walking Dead party with the start of the next part of the series.
10"40... sunny and unusually warm. Bonnie ate her morning fare in a timely manner and I had a chicken sandwich. Spent a quiet afternoon then off to Koen to join Cera and Gerald for a very interesting Japanese dining experience. Prices were nearly as high as the Brazilian place so we're likely to go for that again some day.
10:10 (alarm)... sunny and warm. Out for lunch and gas in the RAV. Bonnie finally ate her first two batches and Leofwyna loaded the ball with thirds for her to have at the Doerr's tonight. It's music so I took the quilt to work on while I waited for Leofwyna there. Back at home Bonnie finished her daily rations.
10:45... overcast and still frigid. MLK day so decided to wait until tomorrow to get out and run some errands. A quiet day with Ancestry and the jigsaw puzzle. Bonnie seems to have adjusted pretty well to the situation; getting her back to normal might be an issue later.
9:30... mostly cloudy and still Arcticly frigid. Turns out Bonnie conned Leofwyna into letting her sleep on her bed. Leofwyna says she was a perfect lady, sleeping straight through as she did, getting up for a bathroom break when she did and going back to sleep on the bed again. That's how I found them this morning. So far so good. There was a little while of sun this afternoon for Bonnie but it clouded over again in short order. The jigsaw being a complicated one is barely past half completed. Gaming tonight with DM Agnes took a sidewise jink and half of Pepe's party was sucked into the Astral plane (much to everyone's surprise). One must be careful about putting random bags you find into your bag of holding; you're left holding no bag and taking unexpected adventures.
10:10... At least the suns trying to shine... -7 is just insanely frigid. Stayed in today; cleared the table for a jigsaw puzzle. It got even colder so that Bonnie's feet couldn't handle the cold and she wouldn't do what was needed. Made the decision to let her puddle inside; we'll just clean up after her. She was very confused about this but finally we had results much to our relief. At bedtime we left her kennel open and closed bath and bedroom doors giving her the run of the living area.
11:20... Cloudy and cold. Out to lunch. Leofwyna not feeling well tonight so didn't go to Gerald's. I left Bonnie home with her. I took Leofwna's bread and dressing for the Venison Reubens. Nate, Liz, Aurik, Anne and Cera were there. Aurik brought fireworks for midnight. Except for losing my thimble it was an excellent evening. Got home to a traumatized dog; apparently a real boomer went off up the street just as she was settling for a deposit. Leofwyna said Bonnie pulled her so fast and hard to the stoop that she lost her footing and fell on the step. Fortunately Bonnie was so glad to see me she forgot her angst and did well for me when I took her out.
Happy New Year 2024, may it prove an improvement over 2023's politics !!!

10:40... sunny and warming. Out for lunch. Repaired my wool sweater and made spaghetti sauce for supper. Bonnie has pushed Leofwyna's buttons too many times and tonight's multiple puddles really tripped her trigger. I may have to have her re-homed. The way things are right now is not fair to Leofwyna, especially with her toe not healing up and being exposed to the puddles. Later, apologies all round.
10:30... Sunny and warmer. Out for lunch. Leofwyna had Isabeau over to learn how to run her serger while ours is on the fritz. I cleaned the stove top after Leofwyna's marathon cooking for upcoming events. Bonnie got a walk today before we headed out for Magmor. Natalya presented her Albert apprentice King's Prize entry which was very interesting and informative. Afterwards we went to Culvar's for supper. Looks like Aurik and Liz may be an item now. Lately Bonnie hasn't been eating all four of her food opportunities and she waits until late afternoon for even her first bowl. Now today she didn't eat anything.
9:50... back to normal time in the night. Sunny and warm today. Out to lunch then stopped in Vine Goodwill (sock yarn). Bonnie got her bath this afternoon. Gaming at the Doerr's tonight with DM Arne. The only "here lies adventure" was deemed by the group as beyond our level's abilities so we chose the longer route to our destination.
11m... the sun is back. Bonnie cooperated this noon so when I went out to lunch I felt free to run errands (gas, library, groceries, po). Bonnie got to go on a 4-block walk this afternoon; I felt I was a little out of shape since it's been a couple weeks. After supper I made custard so the house is nice and toasty; I should have done that last week when it was so chilly. Bonnie has been behaving well all week. I've only picked up after her once, and mopped up once, which is somewhat of an improvement that I hope keeps up into the winter.
10am... a somewhat overcast day remaining somewhat temperate. Leofwyna queasy from antibiotics stayed home and I headed over to Walt Library for the business meeting. I skipped supper at Slim Chicken. At home Bonnie chucked something yellow and she hadn't had her supper yet... don't know what it was. Fed her in light increments making her rather impatient with me. Gerald did come over after eating with the others delighting Bonnie. Cut the yellow lining for the coatdress.
10am, a bright, sunny day. Headed out to lunch and once I got home I found both Leofwyna and Bonnie gone for the afternoon. Leofwyna hit several rummage sales with good results. Bonnie was bad both ways upstairs before supper (which was rather a fiasco too) even though she'd also taken care of things outside earlier. Then when we went downstairs after supper AND after taking her outside, she made another puddle, and another when we went back upstairs before we got her out again. This is annoying Leofwyna SO much, if it were just me I'd probably just deal with it. While we were downstairs tonight I finished the orphan top to add to the pile that got carried to the car before supper this afternoon, making 24 total (one being a finished quilt I found at a thrift store on one of the trips for nearly nothing).
10am, clear and sunny. I spent the afternoon at home with Bonnie while Leofwyna went to her appointment and ran errands. I caught up with her at the Magmor meetng and supper following. Bonnie behaved very prettily when Gerald came to the house, accepting gentle attention then allowing him uninterrupted sleep. I spent this part of the evening catching up with Solitaire challenges and then had problems getting into Ancestry.
9:45... a pretty day but we sure do need one of those shower/thundarstorms to come through with rain. Out to lunch, Vine Goodwill then the library for a session on the computer there (Leofwyna wanted to use the laptop this afternoon). Gaming tonight with DM Agnes and Pepe has us at the captiol dealing with the hoi-paloi there. We are bumped up to level five now. After gaming I searched on the laptop for an alternative to event site or motel... I'll be paying for someplace Bonnie and I can be while Leofwyna merchants.
NOTE: Bonnie took Leofwyna by surprise and wrenched the leash out of her hand when a girl walking a german shepherd came up from the south. I heard the rumpas while gaming and excused myself to go outside to help. Fortunately Bonnie came to me when I called her.

11am, a prettier day. Headed out to lunch then home to bathe Bonnie. Leofwyna arranged for the lawn to be mown and he came this afternoon. Magmor social tonight saw two new young gentlemen interested in the SCA, Cole and Chris. Supper was at VI after and Chris joined us there, too. Leofwyna and I went downstairs to work on our projects. I finished assembling another Aurora top (just need to press and stay-stitch that). Bonnie was stubborn about peeing for me tonight... I'm afraid we frustrated each other and ended up having to have Leofwyna deal with her before kenneling her.
