Wednesday I reboxed the cotton-linen and the linen cutters, a few woolens, silks and fancies much condensed. Then off for lunch and the library computer. In the evening was social and supper at Tandor. Back at home for tv and fripping; we're well into this season's Survivor.
Wednesday at the library computer. In the evening was Social and Supper at Tandori with the gang. Back at home watched the conclusion of this year's Survivor and my favorite did win. Woot!
Saturday I had a bit of an adventure.  I went over to the framing shop to pick up the watercolor and walked in to find the shop un-lite and silent.  No one was there  Upon checking the shop hours I found they were only open until 2 o'clock on Saturday (It was 3:30).  When I got back home I called the non-emergency number at the police department to report it and half an hour later they called back to let me know the owner had been contacted.  So I got to pat myself on the back for being a good citizen.  Sunday Leofwyna got put on-call again so we were able to watch the final episode of Survivor together.  I thought Monica should win rather than Tyler though.
Sunday as I was finishing the partlets Lefowyna came out and said she was taking us to supper when she was done with some yardwork.  I thought that was a fine idea.  Back at home after supper we watched the three hours finishing up Survivor for the season being quite satisfied with Kim's win.

Monday I really put the pedal to the metal and covered the 'henin' form with golden brocade upholstery samples, made up a spruce green brocade (tablecloth) skirt, and cut craft pellon shapes to become pointed henins.  I cut the white organdy and golden organdy for the henin veils, deciding not to bother with hems for this purpose... 5-foot rule applies.  I also made potato salad and grilled hambergers for supper so it was a busy day.
WEDNESDAY

This afternoon I sat down to get Halftroll's tunic done, thinking it would take 2-3 hours.  Six hours later It was done but for a little hand sewing to control the tucks on the border trim around the hem.  I keep forgetting how long those seams are on his oversized tunics and since they're all french finished that doubles everything.  It does look good though, esp. with the narrow trim finishing the neckline trim.  To bad there wasn't enough of it to put on the armband borders too, but oh well.

I was late getting out for the A&S moot; got there just in time to join in the last bit of chatter before the library closed.  In hindsight, since Halftroll wasn't there, I could have skipped it.  I guess I'll just deliver it all to Gyda next week at moot.

Back at home we watched the Survivor we'd taped... huzzah, they voted Russel out.  Too bad he'll probably make a comeback.  There's not very many who'll be able to defeat him at Resurrection Isle.

I'm still seriously involved in dealving through the Ancestry.com site following my leads.  There's still lots of this to be done.
WEDNESDAY

A run downtown to deliver the little recorder was a nul result as the recipient was not at work.  With his health issues in mind I certainly hope he's okay.  Instead of doing the thrift store thing again I went back home to the computer for some more job and genealogy searching.  When the evening rolled around I headed back out for the A&S singing session.  I took along the quilt to work on, too.  We taped the beginning of the new survivor and I think this is going to be a good one but in my opinion Phillip HAS to go!
SUNDAY

I worked quietly at the computor today job shopping until Leofwyna got up. We went to Barnes and Noble so she could get a new puzzle magazine then we went to Grisanti's to have their soup and bread for supper. Finally we got back to watch our videotape of the final Survivor shows. What a great surprise to have Natalie win over Russell! And how so not a surprise that viewers' choice was Russell. How typical they love the bad boy so long as it doesn't directly affect them.
SUNDAY

Was feeling really slow and lazy today so it took a few hours to get going. I mowed part of the front yard and Leofwyna mowed the zoysia by the front door and the new grass on the west. Now her knees are bothering her again so I'm thinking I'd better prevent that from happening again this year. The folks that bought the recliner couch and love seat didn't arrive for pick up until late this afternoon so we didn't get to a friend's graduation celebration as we'd planned.

We watched the last episode of this year's Survivor and approved the winner. My favorite went out two weeks ago but it was a well played final. It's not something I'd succeed at physically or socially but it's fun to watch the mayhem.
MONDAY

Watched the taped copy of the final episode of Survivor last night with Leofwyna; we're pleased with the results as Bob handled himself well throughout the program.  Having set up late yesterday watching tv and sewing on the sample quilt tops I slept in this morning... red flag time; gotta remember to set the alarm tomorrow to keep the earlier schedule going.  Fresh donuts and milk for breakfast, what a treat.  This is the donut recipe Mom used and even won a blue ribbon at the county fair with one year.  I'm sure glad Leofwyna is keeping that tradition going!

Got the kitchen cleaned up, put away some of the stuff from Yule Court and took out the trash.  Now to get started on some of Chris' transcription about Standing Bear.
