Wednesday I put off any sorting until we find out what Jim has to say about JAV this year. I spent the afternoon at the library computer. Jim's visit confirms Volkmar and Owain's guesses. Jim and his crew 'are aging' too and will take a hiatus this year before making further decisions about next year. My impression is that this is good all around with our group too. We will be doing a demo Friday in May for school kids but any participation in the Ren Faire in Bellevue will be individual choice in conjunction with Lonely Tower. Since the group went to Los Marguarita's I 'faded out' to Red Robin and got a nice visit in with Natalya there.

Leofwyna had to call the fire department to come this afternoon when the alarm went off again while she was baking cupcakes. Turns out the carbon monoxide count was pretty high. They opened up the doors and windows to air out the house. Leofwyna put Cassie in the RAV while this was going on. The readings were highest near the stove so we can't use the oven until we've had it checked.
Tuesday Leofwyna put the alarm back together and it's behaving itself for the time being. Since JAV is up in the air I'm putting off further sorting in my room until I know it on or off. This will affect my sorting if I'm not making more camera key stuff. Went to the library computer for the afternoon. Beanies and Weins for supper then a movie, Black Panther. It's been acclaimed as the best Marvel movie so far; it was an engrossing adventure romp.
Sunday I worked Buck up a grade at the table before heading out for the afternoon at the library computer. Leofwyna was still sleeping when I left. Gaming at Theron's in the evening so GNancy played tonight. Back at home we watched some Olympic skating then headed to bed early again.

Monday morning I poked quietly in my bedroom, sorting laundry and a couple boxes. Once Leofwyna was up I sorted 'purchases' from the sofa, too. Leofwyna coveted the multi-colored vest I got Friday so I traded it for for her two red vests and am content. Headed out to lunch and the library for two sessions this afternoon. Back at home saw a hawk flying from southwest to northeast across our property. Once it was gone I spotted the male cardinal that's been hanging around this winter, a bright flash of red in the lilac. I made scalloped potatoes with ham and broccoli for supper, washed my parka, then fripping and tv. The new alarm sounded this evening so had to shut down the breaker again. No other indication of monoxide though so Leofwyna will call someone to check it out tomorrow.
Tuesday, scooped snow (there was a cardinal keeping me company) before heading to the library computers. Home in time to heat the last of the potato soup for supper, then back out to see Greatest Showman the third time. There's another inch of snow on the ground. The upstairs smoke alarm decided to give up the ghost, noisily, tonight. We ended up having to throw the breaker switch on the south-east corner of the house so we could sleep. Since it's attached to the house electric we'll have to get an electrician in to install a new one.
