Wednesday Shelly's mom has gone into the hospital so Shelly's back staying with us while mom gets tests done.  I went out for the afternoon including a visit to the south Goodwill where I had some good luck with a trug, journal, and some interesting silk shirts for camera key.  Our philosophy night was hijacked for a WWM review and brainstorming for the future of the event.  I skipped supper this time and headed home.  Thursday I stayed in.  Sometime during the afternoon I torqued my left knee so now I'm being uber-careful about how I use it in hopes I can get it back to normal without agravating it.  At the sewing table I'm assembling the plaids into blocks for a top.  I'm washing and ironing the stuff Kronberg ladies forwarded to me and planning another 'blend' top from that.
THURSDAY

Mickey wanted to do some Rummage Sales today when she got up so off we went.  Kinda slim pickings though; I guess the first week of school isn't optimal time fo doing them.  We did find an beautiful, shrunken green wool blanket... Mickey will probably make a 'chaparon' for her as I already have the beginnings of a fushia one I started last spring at Herdmaster.  We also stopped in as the south Goodwill and found some great frames we want to put scrolls in.

We decided to have supper at Valentino's and go to a movie.  District Nine. Very strange, very visceral... definately an 'only once' movie. It has a gripping plot and an interesting premise but OMG! Not one I'll say, you gotta see this, but I can't say it's BAD either. Umm, just be braced for the visceral...

While unloading the car I stepped on a crack in the driveway and dropped myself on my kester!   Fortunately, no damage done but Ow, I say, Ow!
