I stopped in at Salvation Army for the 50% sale on clothing. Picked up a couple cotton shirts, a puzzle and the prettiest crystal candlestick currently in our glass candlestick collection. Then after moot tonight the finance committee voted to accept my bid for Cattle Raids next August. Eep, I'm an autocrat.
THURSDAY-FRIDAY
On these two Leofwyna's work days I pulled up the two baskets of stripped cottons I have and ran the seven loads through a hot wash and hot dry to add them to the cotton stash. While that was going on I sorted piles and found another basketful of thrift store cottons to strip too. I am going to be piecing quilt tops again soon as the colorful mental images are piling up along with these fabrics. First off I'm thinking to use the narrow bits for a log cabin.
SATURDAY
Joined up with Leofwyna's household for supper at Parker's Barbeque. The rest of the day was spent still working on the cotton stash.
