Up and out for breakfast and to get gas in car and for mowing. Waited for Leofwyna to be awake then headed out to get the mowing done. After an afternoon on the laptop headed out for supper and gaming at the Waldman's. DM Volkmar surprised us by changing the so-called captive Halfling into an evil Ooni which took most of the evening to destroy, then we found Black Razor and other treasure before heading back to the Sphinx to check out the third corridor.
10am... up and out for lunch and again later for trimmer cord. Leofwyna is in the process of removing the raised beds. Three of the square beds will be left for me to use if I ever get the energy back for it., we'll see. The pork for supper smelled bad so we ended up going out to Asian Buffet.
9:50... up and out for lunch then back to complete second day boil and syrup the cukes before Leofwyna was up. Took laptop to Best Buy with mouse problem... they say "No problem, works fine." Home again for mowing. Tired early and headed to bed; for a wonder I actually slept
til morning.
til morning.
8:40... up and out to lunch. Home again for computer time until Leofwyna got up then laundry, organize for cinnamon pickles and trip for groceries. While Leofwyna did some yardwork I started the first day of the cinnamon pickles. Finished watching the Olympics... closing ceremony.
11am... broken sleep with achy arm from injection. Up and out for lunch, mower gas and groceries. Got the riding mower from neighbor and got the lawn done. Played canasta after supper and beat Leofwyna despite 'head'; all the cards came up right for me. Stayed upstairs on laptop until bedtime. It took the longest time to get to sleep and then it was still broken most of the night.
9:40... to a windy grey morning. After a slow morning on the computer headed out for lunch. Mike mowed this afternoon and Leofwyna went to Sams with Isadora. I spent the afternoon on Ancestry and after supper headed downstairs to the sewing table to work on the 'kitchen sink' strippie. Talked Leofwyna into ordering pizza for supper... score!
9:15... was on the computer all day while Leofwyna ran errands (including bringing me stamps). Tried to lay down for a nap a couple times but no way. Mike mowed the lawn today. Not his usual neat job; he must have rushed it some. I won the Canasta after supper tonight and downstairs at the sewing table finished the vertical strippie top.
Late to bed after the storm last night and I slept until 1pm. Took lunch downstairs, feeling fine, but by three thought I had an episode. More likely some kind of virus making me miserable.
NOTE: The big oak tree in the neighbor's yard west of us split in the storm last night. Took out one of their vehicles but fortunately left the house alone. They've been busy all day breaking it down. Leofwyna went outside this afternoon and discovered our window well cover stayed it place. It was all the rainspout extensions that were blown off. She returned them to their places and picked up branches for us.

Noon, up and out for lunch and a couple Goodwills (metal belt, pottery bowl, cotton shirt), then grocery store for ice cream, etcetra. Mike is mowing this afternoon. Canasta after supper and Leofwyna trounced me. Worked up Pansy for Owaine's game then back to the sewing table netting up the first sniglet blocks.
Noon and downstairs to the computer. Mike mowed the lawn today. A quiet day for both of us so when Leofwyna was downstairs I was at the sewing table sorting the colored 1.5 drawer. Discovered Cassie had been at the frips sorted on the dryer and got them run through the laundry.
12:45 and downstairs for computer time. When Leofwyna got up I headed out for a hamburger. Back at home I sheered two of the square veggie beds before heading down to the sewing table and the sniglets which are nearly complete square. There's still plenty of bits though so more will be started when these are complete. After supper Leofwyna beat me soundly at canasta.
Up at one to a pretty day. When Leofwyna got up I headed out for a late lunch; came back and made the burger up into spaghetti sauce to put in the fridge. With our meals out of kilter today we scrounged separately. She headed outside to continue cutting back the vines. I worked on the sniglets through the afternoon. Mike got the lawn mown late in the afternoon. I'm not going to stress about getting the veggie beds ready for a summer garden, giving myself time to deal with renovating and removing before filling what's left with soil and compost. I'll make plans for a fall garden later.
Up at noon and headed downstairs for computer time. Started pork in the crock pot for supper. In the afternoon Leofwyna and I went out a couple hours; I concentrated on cutting back weeds on one of the square veggie beds. After supper Leofwyna beat 2 of 3 Badgammon games. In the evening I ran a couple more loads of frips through the laundry and pressed up another two basketsful of the frips. I spent the late night hours on Ancestry.com after Leofwyna went upstairs.
Up at noon and took leftovers downstairs for lunch and computer time before going for the covid test at two. Late in the afternoon Leofwyna and I went out a couple hours working on the yard. I concentrated on cutting back weeds on two of the long veggie beds. In the evening I ran a couple more loads of frips through the laundry and pressed up two basketsful of the frips. I spent the late night hours on Ancestry.com after Leofwyna went upstairs.
Up and out to get tire back on the car and then had a hamburger in the park before returning home. I spent part of the afternoon working on the gaming journals. Mike came across the street and used our mower to do the yard for the first time this year. I may be able to get his help clearing the raised beds away this year. We were successful in attending the ZOOM meeting of Magmor today; it was good to chat with a few of our friends. After supper we played Badgammon before heading downstairs. I started working on the big pile of 10.5 squares making some Mountain Majesties for Aurora.
