etienettebluetFriday (sunshine) had a slow start at the home computer. Went out to the library computer in the afternoon. Back at home did a little pick and put before supper. During the evening Leofwyna saw an item that a big solar flare had erupted and there should be aurora borealis for a few nights if it were clear so suddenly we were planning a quick trip north since the camper still needed North Dakota and Minnesota in spite of the flooding and overcast between here and there.
Saturday we loaded up and hit the road via Interstate 29. The night was overcast.
Sunday we continued to Fargo. The night was overcast.
Monday we headed to Minneapolis but ended up short in St Cloud. The night was clear; no borealis sighting.
Tuesday with a couple stops in Minneapolis headed home. The night was clear; no borealis sighting.
