Thursday I spent the day on the library computer. Leftovers for supper, fripping and tv. Friday we hit the Goodwill stores for 99-cent sales and both of us had a very good day. In addition to many cotton cutters I got six tops and a pair of sleep pants, a Beard cookbook, a thread case and a milk crate. When we were headed north on 27th street going over Salt Creek we saw a large raptor coming toward us from the east... it passed right near to us so we were able to see quite clearly that it was a bald eagle. Beautiful bird! Saturday I spent the afternoon on a library computer. Leofwyna went up to Omaha with Gwyneth for the ballet and I cleaned up some around the house and made a pot of hamberger-potato soup. I continue working on the puppy pads for Gerald.
