Monday the oven is finally completely cleaned and put back together and the pans back in the drawer.  It's not quite pristine like new as there are rough places in the corners where it's nearly impossible to scrub for the obstructions but I figured out how to remove the light cover and boiled it with baking soda while I scrubbed the back wall and 'ceiling' and thoroughly rinsed the entire thing.  Now I can discover something else to procrastinate over.
