etienettebluetMonday after Leofwyna got up I headed out to the backyard to get that mowed, and pounded the T-bars in the tomato bed to support those plants which are growing very rapidly with all the rain we've gotten. The cabbage, broccoli and brussel sprouts look really good too. I need to comb through the various plant outlets to see what else I can find to fill in since I never got anything seeded. I also find there are half a dozen well grown ground cherry plants, and perhaps as many again smaller ones... or maybe those smaller ones are weeds. It's hard to recognize them until they get a little size on them and add the 'mature' leaves. I need to find some small tomato cages to test my "get 'em up off the ground" idea. Tuesday I picked up a package of shelf supports so I can put the shelves Leofwyna cut into the new plastic dishes cupboard. We are going to be SO organized around here once we get everything sorted and put away and the excess sold off later this summer.
