Tuesday and Wednesday have both been damp/wet days so I was able to spend time at the library on the computor. At the sewing table in the evenings I've been working on the 10-inch squares for a couple Mountains Majesty quilt tops. Right now I'm ready to start cutting the two-and-a-half-inch strips which I'm planning to scramble this time for a scrappier looking quilt. I hope this doesn't make the 'mountains' completely disappear but I want to give it a try. Tonight will be the first time to see our MagMor friends in a month. We're meeting downtown at St Marks as the library has 'bumped' us this month for something else they have going on. Makes me nuts but it doesn't seem to upset the others. Anyway, we went to a different Mexican restaurant since we were downtown and it wasn't bad. I won't mind going there again sometime. When we got home we found the wind had blown the (unlocked) back door open and Cassie had gotten out. We combed the neighborhood in the dark thinking surely she would hear us and respond in her rather strident voice. No joy though. May Bastet guide her to safe haven.
