Sep. 30th, 2012 10:24 pmAnother half week gone. I've washed walls with vinegar, mowed the lawn for the first time in three months (due to the drought it wasn't growing), harvested green tomatoes and pulled the tomato plants, I need to set up the hoophouse soon while the weather is still pretty and before the autumn leaves DUMP on us.
Friday I went around to the four Goodwills having the 99-cent clothing sale where I bought about a dozen cotton cutters to add to the quilting stash. I'm really looking forward to getting back to my quilt piecing this winter once the renovation is complete, the furniture brought back in from the garage and all the boxes of stuff shuttled out to the garage. Then I can set up the sewing area again downstairs, finally. Next spring NOTHING will be allowed to prevent the rummage sale I've been planning for over a year.
Leofwyna has been spackling her bedroom walls. Soon we will start painting.
Today I picked up a stack of magazines from Freecycle. More fodder for bathroom reading.
