Went out into my garden repeatedly this afternoon while Leofwyna slept and chopped weeds out of the corner and worked my way into the two potato beds. Got a few potatoes... kind of gnarly though. My soil is awfully dense; clearly I need to work in compost if I'm going to do better next year. Harvested a few tomatoes and stray green beans and a little basil, too.
Collapsed this evening into the comfy chair at the computor. I may not move again for a day or two. Ouch!
