etienettebluetI've spent time this weekend in the yard digging out dandilions. Basketsful have been dumped into the compost piles... lots of nice potassium I understnad. But looking at the yard; can't tell the difference yet. This makes for sore muscles in legs, shoulders and back. I'm almost finished in the 14th Century genealogy, and eagerly anticipating the 1940 census dump.
I got a call for jury duty last week so spent Monday downtown. I was in the top 30 potential jurors for a motor vehicle homicide case (http://journalstar.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/article_861dfa0a-aafc-58df-961b-ce48892af724.html) and it took all day for the attorneys to instruct, question and decide. i'm ambivalent about not being seated on the jury. So much to do this spring but even that tiny paycheck would be good. Oh well, my name wasn't called and I've decided it was because I haven't driven a motorcycle, nor been involved in an accident with a deer. I was a little surprised how quickly the time passed actually as I was actually pretty engrossed with the process.
