Tuesday when Joe called I begged off working on the veggie beds as I was totally enervated from mowing in the heat yesterday. I thought I'd get the boxes assembled sometime before Saturday but that didn't happen either because Leofwyna slept in late a couple days and I didn't want to be making the noise.
Wednesday I got out to the library for A&S but the turn-out was limited, most probably due to Pennsic absences. Back at home I got quite a pile dragged out to the curb for pickup Thursday morning. I've spread that load of old wood and plastic mulch out over three weeks so I don't overwhelm them.
The summer heat has mellowed out a little bit to somewhat more near August summer normal. I've spent a great deal of time with genealogy on the computer working 16th and 17th century lines most notable being in Virginia during earliest settlement times... and finally a Native American connection in the Powhatan tribe there... PauPauwiske.
Saturday morning I was up early and got the wood cut for the boxes and was ready when Joe arrived. We got two boxes built and the ends done for the third.
