FRIDAY-SATURDAY-SUNDAY-MONDAY

Since Leofwyna had her sleep schedule switched around for the weekend we drove up to Omaha Friday to make a run through the World Thrift stores and stopped at a couple scrapbooking places, too.  I didn't buy anything but was considerably frustrated at one store when I had a heaping armful of great tops to try on after spending a good half hour going through the racks and then learned there was no dressing room.  Or, there was a dressing room but no one was allowed to use it.  I dumped the armload on the counter saying, "Fine, no sale then." and went out to wait in the van.  Too, bad.  There was a great jacket and several sweet blouses and knit tops; I was sure the majority of them would fit but I wasn't about to gamble on it.

After carefully checking the weather predictions we headed back to Omaha Saturday for Twelfth Night.  The new site was maybe a little tight compared to what we were used to but it worked out okay.  Gifts were exchanged within our group, I checked on the offerings in the merchant area, and spent the afternoon visiting and knitting (the green socks still but I've begun the heel on one).  Court and feast, then back home for a game of scrabble to finish off the day.

Sunday morning the snow came.  Leofwyna has begun her schedule turn-back.  I made a run for groceries so we could stay in with goulash and scrabble.

Monday afternoon I dug us out so we could got to the Lincoln Quilters Guild meeting where Bonnie Hunter was speaking.  She does my kind of scrappy quilts and organizing, when I'm in my best mode that is.  Gotta get myself back on that track sometime soon.  Back at home we played another game of scrabble.
