Talking to Windstream this morning about having the modem replaced was somewhat a letdown. Seems the connection is present and I'm accessing the internet okay so what's the problem is the attitude at present. Disregarding the fact that the PC Check and Connect was only half done. This leaves me wondering what steps undone might cause problems late in the day or on the weekend when nothing can be done. Oh well, mustn't borrow trouble.
Stopped at the No 27th thrift store for the Tuesday sales where I found a 3-drawer storage unit (for my sewing area), two cotton blouses and a spinner's magazine. Then at the grocery store I found both beef and pork on manager's special so I'm set for awhile. Tonight I made potato salad and grilled the beef which was very yummy.
At this point I must confess to loafing as it's exceedingly hot and humid outside and so I've been ignoring my to do list. This is not a huge surprise though with my prime motivator in Alaska.
