Thursday we loaded up to go to Topeka and hit into several thrift stores and supper before driving on to Wichita to set up the camper in a Walmart there. It was a cold night without heat but plenty of wool blankets. During the night it started raining and kept on with it all day Friday. We spent all day Friday in various thrift stores with mixed luck and finished the day trying to find the right Walmart where we'd left the camper. Third try was successful much to our relief. It was another cold night with light snow flurries. Saturday we overslept (alarm was mis-set) but arrived at coronation, missing only a Laurel elevation and a few recognitions. It was a beautiful site with a 'town square' community hall. Leofwyna also was approached about a co-hosting of 2020 summer coronation with Lonely Tower; they have a site that might work. She napped part of the afternoon. Returning home late Saturday night coming through Beatrice where we were stopped for a broken taillight and into Lincoln found 5-6 inches of snow. What a delight to pull up home to find someone had cleared our drive and walks. I only had to push snow off the two steps in front.
