Friday

12:40, sunny and cold but no snow.  Out for lunch with Leofwyna then she headed out to look for a washing machine (Score!).  Later this afternoon Aurick called; his arrangements for pet care while he's gone this coming week fell through.  He asked if we could stand in for this and since there is two of us, both retired, we said we could.  This evening when I went for milk and bread I wasn't able to unlock the RAV with my fob and had to call Leofwyna who was unable to arrange a ride to rescue me so she walked to the Havelock IGA in the severely cold night.  Fortunately her fob is still working.  When Leofwyna went over to Aurick's tonight she was initially unable to get the button-lock open.  She came home for her phone, to call Aurick, and went back for a second try, successfully.

Saturday

9:50am... alarm was set for 9:30 so I started out behind.  Fed Bonnie, gathered up garb, went to Aurick's for his animals, then library to get address for tea and to dress.  Turned out tea started at 1 instead of 12:30 so that helped a lot.  The Victorian High Tea was charming with interesting food and I was able to bring home what I couldn't get eaten; shared that with Leofwyna.  Once I was back in street clothes headed back out for fob battery and Aurick's animals since I rushed Roscoe this morning.  Back at home, collapsed at the computer for the evening.
