Thursday (noon) it had rained last night and this morning. I was up and out for lunch but skipped the library due to gall bladder attack. Made up the bed in the camper. At the sewing table made more big nine patches.

Friday (noon) loaded up and headed out to get the battery for the camper. Then on the road somehow the emergency brake cable got pulled out and the trailer stopped us. I was a genius and figured it out while Leofwyna was on the phone with Farmers so she cancelled that and called a trailer place in St Joe for a replacement. It all worked out but we covered that piece of road three times (abt 45 min each way). We pulled into Smithville Lake after midnight and found a spot to set up for the night. Getting set up in the cold got a spell started and when I tried to settle into bed it really took hold so now Leofwyna's all worried about me.

Saturday (9:00) up and went to morning court and the tournament. Marius Lucian Fidelis won for Tamar bat Avraham.. It was a really long tourney with 26 entrants. When afternoon court was done I rode home with Gwyneth, Isadora and Natalya. Leofwyna headed into Kansas City for another round of thrifting.
