Saturday is still chilly but sunny instead of the predicted rain. Up and out for lunch and time at the library going through the month's mail; had trouble balancing the statement. Finally on the library computer for a couple sessions with ancestry. At the sewing table I put the final border on the flannel/batist flimsy, redid some parts of the circles on the jawbreaker flimsy and started pressing the baskets of washed fripping.

Reminder to myself of a response to a blog:
I'm retired and no longer have to wake to an alarm clock. My every day now starts with one nice thing. My sister and I live harmoniously together so the second nice thing is a pleasant morning greeting once we're both awake. Almost every day I get into the car we inherited from our younger sister when she passed. My remaining sister insisted I be the one to use it since my car failed. That's a third nice thing to remember every time I go somewhere. I remain relatively healthy which is a fourth. I lost my 'forever' job in 2003 and the three subsequent short lasting jobs during the next five years didn't pan out. Retirement funds are limited to social security and my remaining sister's generousity but every day is full of nice things of various sorts. I am truly blessed!
