(no subject)

During the day Wednesday and Thursday I was rather pokey but I have been plugging away at the blend strips.  I got a second top finished and continue with the rest.  Wednesday evening was, of course, the usual A&S meeting.  This week we were painting preprints.  I chose an AOA to work on with a castle.  I busily mixed grey for the stone walls, shifting the tone of the grey every so often to add dimension.  I only got half done but plans are to do it again next week at social to finish up.  My suggestion for Red Robin was eventually taken up so I was able to have the Ava-cobb-o salad I like so much.  Friday I spent the day going around to all the Goodwills in town for the 99-cent sales.  I had some good luck as I carried out a bag at all four locations.  Next on the agenda is to sort and box up everything I've accumulated the last month or so.  Shelly's mom has gone home from the hospital so Shelly packed up and headed home too.
