Thursday-Friday

Thursday I had chauffeur duties in the afternoon which I interspersed with stops at a couple thrift stores to kill time.  Back at home in the evening I packed for the weekend coming up.  Friday morning was nother chauffeur run before we got on the road for the weekend around noon.

Friday-Sunday

We got in to Kansas City in good time to go to a Habitat Re-cycle store where we found two boxes of tiles for the laundry room.  We have more than enough now to get that job completed. We found a good BBQ place for supper before settling into our motel for the evening.  Saturday was Clothiers where I sat in on a couple Norse clothing and panel hat classes and a Silk Road class.  For supper we went to recommended Pad Thai (not as good as Pla Too).  Sunday all day was Savers, Goodwill, and Salvation Army stores with the aide of the Garmin.  I managed to keep my purchases to a minimum as KC prices seemed rather steep.  I found a few cutters, a couple books and a 1/2 pint canning jar.  We had beautiful weather all weekend, driving home through a rain shower near St Jo.
