(no subject)

Monday I got myself organized and roasted Leofwyna's turkey and made mashed potatoes, giblet gravy and steamed haricort verts (tiny green beans) to go with it.  Since we hadn't done a turkey at Thanksgiving we'd missed out on the leftovers, but now we have them to look forward to.  I must be sure to put half the turkey in the freezer though since there's only the two of us to work on it.  Late in the evening we got a call from the Doerrs, did we want to come over and help decorate their Christmas tree.  This delighted Leofwyna hugely and of course we went.  It was just the four of us and they don't use nearly as many ornaments as we do (only two boxes to store it compared to our dozen) so it was quickly accomplished so we also spent some time looking through their sca photo album.
