Thursday evening Leofwyna and I canned the box of pears a neighbor gave us.  They were tiny ones but very pear-y and we have four pints.

Friday I harvested green tomatoes since temperatures are so chilly and tonight promises to plunge to 39 degrees.  I found a recipe for green tomato salsa and made up a double batch to can.  I made up a big batch of chili for supper and canned four pints of that, too.
