Saturday was another beautiful, mild day so when Leofwyna woke up we got ourselves out and working. We loaded up the rest of the brush into the van to take out to a rural brushpile later in the evening. I also bundled up the dried sticks to add to the woodpile that we'll take along to use on our camping trip this fall. I worked at breaking down and removing metal from the door frames I'd saved for the wood. I only kept two of the larger frames to use (reinforced) on the hoop house. The other other five frames gives me lumber to reinforce the frames and make the ridgeboard. I'll even use the plastic 'stops' for pinning down the plastic on the sides of the hoop house. Leofwyna was cleaning the 'victorian' column she got for the break between the living room and the dining area. I noticed the first couple green beans in the garden so it won't be long before I start harvesting them. I've been taking tomatoes fairly regularly a week now but I'm thinking it won't be a 'generous' season this year. I hope I'm wrong.
