(no subject)

Monday I called and wonder of wonders I was able to get both scheduled Monday (AC) and Tuesday (drain).  Then the office called back, the drain guy was ahead of schedule, did I want him to come today.  I really can't beleive our luck!  And since both got in on the same day the company only charged one travel fee (I don't understand their thinking on that but I'll take it).  Anyway the first fellow came at two and roto'd out the laundry drain.  Of course, this woke Leofwyna up and she took off to run some daytime errands planning to sleep later when the noise was done.  The AC was scheduled at four but he was running late.  He got here before six and  had to wait until the AC thawed (the office should have had me turn the AC off).  Once he was working on it we decided to try to fill the freon and see how it goes (eventually we will have to replace the unit... about $4,000... ouch).  In the meantime Leofwyna was back home and climbed back in bed to sleep until nearly ten.  I'm releaved that tomorrow she'll be able to sleep through as she works tomorrow night.  Between the comings and goings I managed to clean (not just change) the litter box, run a load of laundry and clean up the kitchen as well as supervising the repairs.
