(no subject)

Thursday the computer went on the fritz and I'm spending as much time as I can on the library computers for the present.  I did get a birthday supper done up for Leofwyna of steak and mushrooms, and strawberries on vanilla bean ice cream.  Neither one of us could come up with a gift idea for her this year so that didn't happen.  Thursday I put a couple layers of stain on the bay window.  This is going to look really good when finished, I think.  The cats are not happy about being kept downstairs but there's no other way to keep them out of that window otherwise.       Friday I was at the library on the computer again and stopped in at the Goodwill where I discovered they were having a 10 for $10 sale.  Since Leofwyna was at work I brought a baked chicken home from the store for supper and then got Volkmar's last gambeson assembled, ready for Isadora to appliqye heraldry on it.  I'll bind it when that is completed.
