Apr. 9th, 2013 11:14 amSunday I spent the afternoon at Herdmaster. It was such a pretty day to spend sitting outside, watching the fighters do their thing and visiting with the other 'string' folks. I finished the latest narrow-ware piece. Sash overheard me talking about 'thrifting' again and this time he voiced a strong opinion about wasting time and we should be using cloth for our projects. Also how apprentices reflect on their Laurels. I probably won't give up thrifting because of finances but I should probably not be so outspoken about it.
Sunday evening Leofwyna was pulling trim boards from the garage to paint for her room. WTH, she should have fhought of that done much sooner; now we must wait for that before Del comes to finish things. She can't paint anything outside this week due to weather. I hope she's not thinking to do it indoors (all the new flooring)!
Monday I got the kitchen counters cleared of reno paraphanalia and moved the plastic storage containers into the lower offside cupboard. I think this will be a really good place for these things. I really didn't like having to get up into the high cupboard for things we use so frequently. I also finally got the microwave moved back upstairs. Leofwyna is still detailing the edge between ceiling and walls in the great room so it looks like the paint color issue is being allowed to disappear.
