(no subject)

Friday we were fortunate in the service person who came to replace the water heater as he was capable of whispering and remembering to at least try to be quiet as is possible when working with metal pipes and tools.  The water heater is replaced, the floor mopped up from the inevitable spillage and in a fit of industriousness the bottom shelf of the refrigerator has been throroughly cleaned as well. 

We had a nice although brief 'feminine' rain come through around seven.  I haven't been out yet to see how much rain we got but at least I won't have to be dragging hoses around today watering the trees and garden.
