Mar. 5th, 2012 12:52 pmI guess Marty isn't wanting to deal with the little elm tree problems as the two branches are still hanging there. I may still have to figure out a way to get them down myself. I got a lot of stuff cleared off the sewing table and ran a bunch of it through the wash (and ironed). It's only a first step towards getting the sewing area whipped back into working order but its gotta be done if I'm ever going to get back in the groove. That being said, I still spent an inordinate amount of time working through some more of the 14th Century genealogy... Bohemia, Hungary, Russia, France.
Sunday afternoon I took the toile for Volkmar's gambeson over for a quick fitting. The paper pattern is right on so now I just need to get the first one done for him to use at Gulf Wars next week. When Leofwyna got up Sunday evening we went to see Acts of Valor, a movie made using real special services personnel instead of actors. We both thought it was very well done.
