Another week has slipped away from me.  I've gone out on nice days and run a few errands, relicensing the car, paying a snow parking ticket and dropping off aluminum and recycling.  Leofwyna did two days of cooking for dinner with some friends and I tagged along in order to eat some of my favorites... wild rice soup is 'specially great.  I paid the piper by looking at everybody's photos of their Alaska trip a year ago last summer.  Not too rough an afternoon actually.  I spent another afternoon the next day washing up a monstrous pile of dirty cooking dishes.  This week I finally started digging into the piles in my sewing area and washing up some fabrics that have gotten abused by the kittehs.  I began hearing cardinals this week singing "Spring is here!" in the heights; and noticed a group of a dozen robins debating territory with a handful of grackles,  Who needs groundhogs to predict nice weather?

Tonight was our planned movie night and Leofwyna had selected "The Grey" following supper at Tico's which is one of our great favorites.  The movie was very intense and anything descriptive might be a give away so I'll leave it at that.  On the way home it had started to snow-rain so the van went straight into the garage.
