Aug. 19th, 2011 05:42 pmTuesday evening I went out for Fiber Arts. I didn't stay long, mostly because I'd forgotten my chair, but it was long enough to volunteer to do the replacement loops for the baronial sunshade. I have the yellow duck from a previous barony sunshade and I'll use that for the straps and matching storage bags.
Wednesday noon I met Gyda at the storage unit to get the baronial tables. I'm borrowing them for the rummage sale in September. Since they're not being used at Cattle Raids next week I'm getting them early to help with the sorting and pricing process. I remembered to put out the last of the old landscaping wood for the garbage pick up. I spread all that mess out over three weeks; hope they appreciate it.
Even though it was terribly humid I spent a couple hours Thursday afternoon on the second new veggie bed... shreaded paper and sifting dirt. Got just enough dirt done to hold down the paper when a storm blew in and I hurried to put things away. It was a good solid rain which is good for the grass and trees. I won't have to put out the hoses for yet another week, yay!
