Made another run for thread, this time to Hancocks for white cotton thread for piecing since I can't find that part of my stash either. While there I found a lovely federal print at $2/yd that I snagged for a quilt back. Clearly the mind is turning more and more to getting the sewing room sorted so I can be efficient about doing things in it. Right now, every time I think of something I want to do, there's important tools and/or supplies buried in the boxes and I end up buying replacements or fooling around in the Internet instead.
MONDAY
Took three packages to the post office to mail, one was the suit and blouses for Rufinia and the others I took for Leofwyna to save her a trip. Another stop got the aluminum out of my trunk and five bucks in my pocket. I also stopped in at Kinkos to make copies before sending out another packet.
Although the skies are uniformly grey and we're having occasional rain it's good to see 95% of the snow/ice accumulation is gone! Today I learned the time change happens this weekend so no doubt yardwork and garage organization may begin next week if temperatures allow.
