When Leofwyna got up to get ready for work I headed on outside to clear the walk and her van (which she hadn't pulled into the garage). As it's a light layer of snow I didn't bother with clearing the drive this time. I came away from a couple thrift stores empty handed today but that's to be expected now and then I suppose.
SATURDAY
Up and at 'em today. I drove wa-a-ay out to Sabi's today to help her alter my first gwazi to fit her. It's one I'd taken over to Barb's dance school in hopes someone might buy it. Instead Sabi is taking it in trade for rides to events a few times this year. In addition to pinning it up for her I stayed and cut off the old seams and did the machine-work on it. She's left with just three short places to hand stitch closed on the lining seams. It fits her really nicely now and I'm glad to know someone gets the use out of a well made, outgrown gwazi and I'm going to ride to coronation with her in March. Yay!
Now it's snowing again... I am so much ready for spring to show up!
