WEDNESDAY

The second day of not getting out of the house except to deal with snow. This time Leofwyna ran the snowblower and I just dug out the trash cans and winter compost bucket so I could bring stuff out of the house to put in them. I was back inside heating water for cocoa long before Leofwyna was done. I'm looking forward to getting out tomorrow even if it is just for a trip to the pet shop for a fresh bag of food for Joey.

In response to a question in my Email:
I am not a peer. My motto is "If you're counting you're not having fun." In a former lifetime I was an avid quilter and people kept asking how long? how much? how many? This was my response. I don't have a banner; perhaps someday.

Today I did get out of the house for catfood and a stop at one of the thrift stores where I found four really great shirts for the quilt stash. Yes, I'm still a quilter even if I haven't for nearly six years. And, no, throwing together the sample tops for charity doesn't count as no art nor craft was involved. I intend for this to change next year.

Today I received the letter thanking me for applying but so sorry the job was given elsewhere. D***! However, this weekend I also received a letter informing me there was a possible 14-week extension on unemployment insurance which is good timing if I can get it. I forsee several phonecalls in my near future.

Presently I'm dealing with laundry and as the washer has finished a cycle I'm going to go deal with the next load. Chao!
