Well, the cold seems to have vacated my premises right on schedule and has taken up with Leofwyna, exactly as she expected. Oh well!
I spent Tuesday doing neglected housework while Leofwyna raked over her patch of weeds to overseed with grass again. A year and a half ago she went out to spray weeds in part of the lawn having grabbed the wrong can of stuff to put in the sprayer... instead of specific weeds she killed everything in an unpleasant patch pattern about the back yard. The following spring she seeded grass and got a fine crop of mostely crabgrass... it's triggered her stubborn reaction and I'm just staying out of the way.
Wednesday the city was out on our street for half an hour grinding up assorted chunks of wood. I was exceptionally pleased when they moved on so I could get back to sleep. Ended up oversleeping and thereby wasting a considerable piece of my day. Did get to Shopko to take advantage of a bathroom tissue sale before going to A&S this evening where I stitched on the Viking caps while listening to the discussion on documentation for competition.
I really must get out while the good weather lasts and work over some of my raised vegetable beds. As I remember from last fall some of them need some judicious repairs too.
