A most pleasant day until... well, I shouldn't get ahead of myself.
Leofwyna and I had a date to meet up with Agnes and Isadora for lunch and had a most pleasant afternoon verbally curing most of the ills of our little corner of the world ;D When we got home though we found messages left on the answering machine indicating all was not well with Little Sister up in Omaha. In fairly short order we got a call from her friend that she'd been taken to the hospital in rather poor condition. This illness has taken a new turn and she has, in addition to everything else, Pancreatitis. This is very not good!
They have her sedated, intubated and on dialysis so there's no point in driving up to Omaha until we hear she's alert. That's not the way to end the splendid day we were having but it is what it is.
