Nov. 10th, 2008 03:22 pmIn the past two weeks, the world of popular fiction has lost two giants--Michael Crichton and Tony Hillerman. Both men were storytellers who knew how to pull their readers into their stories and maintain interest. Crichton wrote about how science can go too far while Hillerman wrote mysteries that included insights into the Native American experience. These are two authors I've watched the bookstore shelves for and now there'll be no more. RIP!
