6am... Leofwyna is gone to Coronation and I can't get back to sleep so I'm on the laptop for awhile drinking milk.  Later, 9:45,,, mostly cloudy and chilly.  Put away folded socks and things, then out for lunch.  Over the lunch hour a snow squall blasted through leaving the pavement wet (the snow melted immediately upon hitting).  I only knew it was snow instead of rain when I saw the dusting on the grassy areas.  Home again for a quiet day.  When Leofwyna pulled in before midnight she reported Coronation was a very satisfactory event for her.  She rode with Gwyneth and Cera.  Apparentlly it rained generously during an early hour this morning.

10:25... cloudy and cold.  The car still doesn't start.  Called Dave; they're backed up two weeks and have no room in the lot.  I asked to be put in cue and they can let us know when they're ready to tow the car in.  Called Cera for a ride to go get the RAV.  Was afraid we'd have to dig it out but it was clear and we only had to brush snow off the back window.  We had invited her to join us for supper so I sent her to keep Leofwyna company while I went for my groceries and prescription.  It was snowing when she picked me up but stopped after only a couple inches before I was heading home from HyVee.  Cera scooped some of the walk for us before I got there.  She also helped me unload when I got home and I hurried to get the stroganoff made.  This turned out to be a particularly good batch and we have enough for supper again tomorrow.  The second jigsaw puzzle is coming right along as we take turns working on it.  I invited Cera to come back for supper Saturday as I'm planning a pot pie casserole which serves eight; takes us awhile to use it up so if she likes I'll send a portion home with her.

10am... sunny and frigid morning but overcast in the afternoon.  Leofwyna's toe surgery was early this morning, picked her up and she waited in the car during my appointment with Dr Owen, then we went to lunch before heading home.  I made a quick run to IGA to stock up in case the predicted storm shows up.  Later, a couple inches of snow on the stoop for Bonnie's last outing.  Leofwyna won't be able to go out in that with her healing foot; no doubt I'll skip going anywhere tomorrow either. 

11:30... apparently it snowed right on schedule this morning.  Leofwyna had an early appointment and reports it's slick under the snow.  She's got surgery scheduled for Thursday morning to deal with the ulcer on her toe.  Since the library was closed I had little excuse to get out and brave the streets today.  This being the case it's been an unusually long day.  There wasn't as much snow as predicted... lots of slushy wet stuff...  Marty came and did our walks this afternoon.

11:30... Merry White Christmas.  Yes it snowed during the night; maybe it still is.  Since it's blowing from the roof it's hard to tell.  Caleb came and cleared our walks before we left for our party.  We had a little trouble getting into the car both this afternoon and evening as the doors iced shut.  Time for some research on how to prevent that.  We had a nice time at the Mobley's which included a couple from their church as well as Cera and Gerald.  I received a Jade Pashmina scarf from Cera for Christmas.  We left Bonnie at home so she was very pleased to see us. 

10am and there's a dusting of snow on the ground.  Got bills done this morning.  By noon the snow is already gone.  Got clothes tote packed and showered before heading out for gaming tonight.  Pepe and the group were somewhat over-matched with ogres, orcs and goblins but managed to defeat all DM Agnes' mayhem. 

Up at 10am to find a light covering of snow so swept the stoop before taking Bonnie out.  Spent a great part of the day and evening downstairs working on the smaller four-squares. 

10:45... The neighbors east are blowing snow out of our driveway and clearing off our cars this morning.  Bonnie's behaving pretty well considering the noise they're making.  I swept the stoop and cleared a little spot for Bonnie to use.  There must be 4-6 inches out there and if it's not still coming down it's certainly blowing around a lot.  I spent the afternoon and evening downstairs finishing the sniglet blocks then started more sniglet centers from bits with the TOSB scraps from the comforter renovation.  I think the consensus is that we got seven inches of snow altogether.

Slept very well through the night.  The phone ringing woke me about 10:30; it was Leofwyna ready to come home this morning.  I rushed to dress and take the dog out before loading into the car and driving over to Bryan West where I ended up waiting over half an hour as there was an emergency in ICU.  Got Leofwyna home and the dog fed about 12:30.  Marty was over to clear the snow off our walks and the RAV, in the dark evening.  Leofwyna and I went out to the Asian Buffet for our supper.

Bonnie out with Leofwyna again this morning but only made 'magic'.  While I was putting away dishes she made use of the door mat again.  I took Leofwyna to her appointment; Bonnie went along so I wouldn't have to crate her.  Dropped them o at home, went to lunch, then to Walmart for new Eufy.  Back at home found Leofwyna napping; I got on the laptop awhile.  After supper I finally set up the Featherweight out of my closet; it runs nice and quiet but I can't get a good stitch from it (all loops underneath).  Then I set up Leofwyna's 401 which went much better and I butted strips through the rest of the evening.  At bedtime Bonnie decided to exercise her voice which is something new for that time of day; it took quite awhile before she gave it up.  It snowed during the night.
