Sunday I got last weeks' branches cut up and cleared from around the compost piles and the raised beds then I ran the weed whacker around all the raised beds so that's all looking considerably better this evening. I put ground cloth down around the ground cherries and plan to go get the small tomato cages tomorrow to put in before the plants get any bigger. I want to catch them while they're still going UP, before they start to spread and harden the branches. My plan is to keep them off the ground so I can see the dropped cherries and get them gathered easier. Tonight my hands are aching from all the pruner toolwork but I continued ironing the' cutters for the quilt stash.
