SUNDAY
Called Connie and Diane to get genealogy clues; got a couple earfuls in the process. Leofwyna and I went to see Super 8; not bad.
MONDAY
The SERTA mattress I'd seen at the thrift store last week was still there. It looks as though it's never been used, even the lables look pristine. I'd been debating about getting it all weekend so I thought it surely would be gone but this time I lucked out. I have a new mattress at about a quarter the price!!
TUESDAY
Picked up my new mattress, got rid of the old one and mowed the entire lawn; totally wiped myself out.
WEDNESDAY
New firm mattress will take some getting used to. Awake early after vivid dreams about last day at work in 2003 at NET. In my dream I was much angrier than I was on the actual day; probably because now I know how hard it is to replace the work I had enjoyed so much for twenty years.
