Wednesday

10:30 and it's already 15*, sunny and clear.  Called HyVee re Metformin; will pick up soon.  Called re: Entresto; they said no record of last week's order.  Alexandra was very helpful about arranging order; may be able to do next day delivery.  At any rate will arrive Monday at the latest (?).  I called car insurance for a jump start and a very pleasant fellow came but we were unable to get the car started.  He helped me get the charger on the car and I'll try it tomorrow.  I hope I don't have to call Dave to fix something; my budget is already uncomfortable.  Spent the evening preparing extra character (Han) for Agnes' game Sunday.

Thursday

10:25... cloudy and cold.  The car still doesn't start.  Called Dave; they're backed up two weeks and have no room in the lot.  I asked to be put in cue and they can let us know when they're ready to tow the car in.  Called Cera for a ride to go get the RAV.  Was afraid we'd have to dig it out but it was clear and we only had to brush snow off the back window.  We had invited her to join us for supper so I sent her to keep Leofwyna company while I went for my groceries and prescription.  It was snowing when she picked me up but stopped after only a couple inches before I was heading home from HyVee.  Cera scooped some of the walk for us before I got there.  She also helped me unload when I got home and I hurried to get the stroganoff made.  This turned out to be a particularly good batch and we have enough for supper again tomorrow.  The second jigsaw puzzle is coming right along as we take turns working on it.  I invited Cera to come back for supper Saturday as I'm planning a pot pie casserole which serves eight; takes us awhile to use it up so if she likes I'll send a portion home with her.
