I picked up a CD of An Echo in the Bone (Gabaldon) at the library to listen to on the drive down to Missouri and back this weekend.  I do love to listen to Davina Porter's readings of Gabaldon's books so I was 'specially glad to find it available.  I managed to get myself pulled together and organized enough potential projects to get to Bobbin' and Weavin' Frida.  I finished the sewing I needed to do for Joe's work in my garden last summer.  Turned out I was able to get only one item from the blue linen but both the blue and the russet tunics turned out looking pretty good.  I also made up a pair of russet plaid trousers for him; to kinda apologize for taking so long getting it all done.  I had taken a tote full of Gold Key projects along too but I only got one maroon tunic done for that.  I pulled into Lincoln Sunday at 5:18 and stopped in at site for the All Thing the barony was holding but everyone was already gone and the room locked up and dark.  I guess they were done more quickly then they'd thought..
