Tuesday afternoon I put the front drapery rod back up, just to get it out of the way before putting the primer layer on the west wall.  Later in the evening in preparing to paint I took down the west drapes and rod.  Turns out at the left end mount the drywall was rubble so I did a big patch and plaster repair.  Needless to say the painting is delayed.
