Sunday we were up promptly at ten, loaded up, said our good-byes and off looking for Savers and Goodwills. Both of us found a few good things before we hit the road to get me back in time for gaming. In Theron's set-up (Gnancy) we gleaned information, bought horses and after a night's sleep started out on an adventure which was immediately interrupted by a wizard and his six hirelings (Black Earth Monks... "Earth Monkeys!") which we were unexpectly efficient at eliminating. Lot's of experience points and we were done this time with a full 'day' for adventuring when we come back. At home I worked at the sewing table on the kronberg blends for a second Wilderness Courthouse top.

Sunday I slept until noon... didn't mean to but first waking at 9 was too early.  So I had ten hours... Leofowyna got fourteen.  We're both well rested.  At the sewing table this afternoon I stitched away at the Kronberg blends.  And tonight at gaming we fought off more goblins when they attacked our barracks.  I came up with a good  to use my cone of COLD! and got a nice "Good job!" from Volkmar.

Sunday Owain led gaming so I played Han again.  Although I hadn't done my homework and surely missed opportunities we had a good night chasing down a pack of goblins through the back alleys of the town.  When I got home I went through the book learning what this character might be capable of and making plans when he advances.  Monday I stayed in while Leofwyna ran errands.  In the evening I sewed up a special cap to assist a project she has going.  Tuesday I headed out for lunch, haircut and the Vine Street Goodwill.  I found a replacement purse as my 'Alaskan' purse is falling apart.  Since I stopped at Joanne's for webbing I was late getting to FoodNet so I was last through the line.  I got a sweet potato, two oranges, a hand of bananas, a jicama, crackers and a loaf of bread.  At the sewing table blend squares have been assembled into a top that needs a narrow border but I set that aside for the moment to assemble blend bits and start a bit and strippie top.
Sunday after a slow afternoon I did get out to scrape the ice off the car enough to go eat and get to gaming.  Owain was DM for a new adventure so I perforce created a fourth character for it; a Dragonborn cleric.  This was a fun start and we'll do more of it on New Years day.  Monday was still cold and we stayed in doing some laundry and working more on the Kronberg tops.
Sunday once Leofwyna was up I baked up a batch of banana bread before heading out to look for an iron.  Found what might be a good one at Ace Hardware; looks like one Mom had so maybe this will last more than a year.  I've got my fingers crossed.  Then went to gaming at Theron's where Gnancy moved up to level V.
Sunday when I woke Leofwyna was gone.  Didn't know she had plans so was wondering all day.  Made a big batch of apple crisp, some for Arne and some for the gaming group.  Even remembered to do a little dish separate for Leofwyna.  At gaming started the new adventure with Arne as DM.
Saturday even though I was able to get on the computer at home I ended up spending a little time in the afternoon at the library computer.  I also checked in at a couple of the Goodwills and scored a Ball Canning book I'd dispaired of ever finding there.  Back at home I made pizza for our supper.  Sunday we spent the afternoon at the Ambassador playing Train Dominos with Carlos, Isabeau and Morgana.  Then in the evening I had gaming at Theron's.  At the sewing table this weekend I've put together a back from the chambray pieces I frippered from bedskirts.  Then I finished the partial top with another piece of the chambray.  This pile is getting tall enough to consider a drive to Kronberg some Monday soon.
Sunday after lunch and computer time at the library I returned to sifting compost.  Leofwyna cut out this year's brassicas for me to carry to the Children's Zoo tomorrow.  The big east compost pile is shrinking steadily but not nearly as quickly as I hoped.  Next year's brassica bed will be ready this winter to be seeded sometime in March with brussel sprouts, broccoli, and cauliflower.  About five years ago when I accomplished this was the best broccoli harvest I've ever had and I want that sort of success again.  At gaming in the evening we set up for a new adventure under a new dm, Arne.  We haven't started it yet but characters are being developed.  Our usual game under Volkmar started late but was some good play.  I took the lead going up an alternate route with great success and the encounter with a pair of owlbears was well done.  Back at home at the sewing table I'm sewing up mountains majesty blocks.
Sunday after lunch and computer time at the library I finished the pumpkin blocks before heading out to gaming where much gold was acquired killing Bob and Bub and three Brown Shirts with them.  I'm to plan a human fighter for gaming when Arne is DM.  Back home at the sewing table I started building the pile 'o pumpkins banner.
Sunday I feel better.  Spent the afternoon after lunch at the library with the computers.  When I went home for a nap Leofowyna was working on the brush pile.  She said she had the sore throat now.  Had to happen.  After a nice nap I headed out for gaming where nothing was killed for a change.  Just lots of travelling, marketing where possible, reporting findings and planning for future adventures.  At the sewing table the sniglets are getting into bigger setts and squares are happening.
Sunday I was sore from all those cartridge pleats and maneuvering that big chunk of velvet.  I would have been glad to skip the baronial archery but knowing Isabeau and Carlos were probably tired too but they couldn't skip it (he's the previous champion) got me up and going albeit not until mid afternoon.  It was a pretty day for it though and it was fun to report to Their Excellencies on the Golden Needle results whereupon the newest member (why can't I remember her name?) wanted details.  I think she'll probably contrive to be on a team next year she's so interested.  Court and potluck occurred and I slipped away before load-up as I had gaming at Theron's where we got the wagon repaired and smashed Ghouls into oblivian.  We think the caravan and it's master have abandoned us and it's several days farther to our destination than he'd indicated.  Gnancy has discovered her 'sneak attack' ability and put it to use to good use.  I need to be more thorough in my notations.  At the sewing table tonight I continue pressing duos and pairing them up as I go for the next run of stitching.
Sunday I scoured the joints in the laundry room, swept and tacky wiped the joints and painted the first coat.  Thoroughly worn out, still I showered and headed out for a stop at the library for one computer session, a quick supper and on to gaming where I succeeded in advancing to third level and gained another spell.  We have vacated the cave scenario with the kobalds, lizards and roper behind us.
Friday I put some time in on the computer at the library.  After lunch I stopped in at the central Goodwill and found a set of plastic drawers.  At the cutting table in the evening I'm still dealing with slicing the washed cutters into strips.  Leofwyna had also brought home a set of plastic drawers for me to sort into so I started reorganizing as things had been getting somewhat cramped.  This will take awhile but will make it much easier to access pieces when I'm building new tops.

Saturday I went to crown tournament in Council Bluffs alone.  Both Leofwyna and Morgana were under the weather and stayed home.  It was a beautiful day and the 31 contestant field moved briskly along taking merely 3.5 hours to reach a conclusion.  Ashir and Ashland are now the prince and princess.  Court lasted long and accomplished much but a keenly anticipated accolade was not included at this time.  At least Leofwyna didn't miss it thereby.  I left before feast, stopping at PlaToo for my supper before continuing home.

Sunday we both went up to Omaha for Annalise and Gavin's afternoon wedding.  It was another glorious day and the lovely ceremony was held in a beautiful yard at UNO's Alumni building.  Afterwards there was time for a stop at one Thrift World where Leofwyna bought bagsfull of stuff.  We got back to Lincoln in time for me to grab a burger on the way to gaming at Theron's where a 'stony' troop of bullies were ignored, then a little later 8 trogs and two trolls were destroyed.  The wagon is yet to be repaired but it has been unloaded.
Sunday after lunch I spent part of the afternoon on the computer at the library.  I mowed the verges, watered and picked tomatoes, then Leofwyna and I did a little condensing in the garage before I cleaned up to go to game night where I killed at least three kobalds.  Back at home I continued putting together the vintage wedding ring eyes.  It was late when Leofwyna and I cleared the laundry room for tomorrow's laborers.
Sunday I mowed the entire lawn in one "swell foop" before heading out to Theron's for gaming.  At the sewing table early and late I worked on sniglets.  I was awake off and on all night with reflux... shouldn't have had that late breakfast at VI after gaming I guess.
Sunday we went to KFC and the library together.  Spent one round on the computor but decided against waiting for another.  Back at home I peeled the cucumbers and got them in lime water.  At seven we headed over to pick up tables from Owain and ended up staying so I could join the D&D group.  I started with a rogue gnome character as an inexperienced drover and had fun while a caravan was being attacked by an unknown force.
