When Leofwyna finally got up today we headed out to a movie, the remake of True Grit. The actors were good in it and the storyline good but what was the point. The only changes were minimal and frankly unsatisfying. Additionally there was one really abrupt, jarring seque in the middle... what was that? After it was too late for Ticos or Granite City so we ended up having supper at Appleby's. Back at home the computer has been acting up a little today; it may be on the way out soon.
MONDAY
Mohrhoff's returned the snowblower this morning. I swing between being glad they beat the weather and blaming them for it. It's a good thing we had our night out last night 'cause the weather went whonky in a big way. During the evening a thin layer of ice topped off with an inch of snow. Not good for driving on so it was good we stayed in with leftover beefy goodness on rice for supper. I stripped cottons while Leofwyna was on the computer; I got it going again this morning and it's behaving pretty well for the time being. I've been sporatically dealing with my room; motivation eludes me somewhat; only one small corner is completely sorted.
TUESDAY
When Leofwyna got up today and checked about work I went out and cleared the snow off walks, drive and vehicles so she could get ready and go. It was VERY bitter cold but I got it all done in one go. Since things were cleared I made a quick run to the store for Pepsi and roasted chicken.
